Ghadames’ special stamp collection
Ghadames is an oasis in the western Libyan desert, it is famous for its rich history that goes back to 6000 years ago, its white houses, and desert-like life. It is a tourism destination, and it has unique craftsmanship and very distinctive aesthetic especially in its architecture.
The design is inspired by the traditional doodles on that are drawn on the houses specially on and around windows and doors. The stamps contain simply the letters of the word Ghadames in Arabic.
